The Globe is the journal of the Australian and New Zealand Map Society Inc. (ANZMapS).
It includes selected papers from the ANZMapS annual conference, contributed articles, reviews and
reports. Articles and papers are peer-reviewed. Membership of ANZMapS includes receipt of The
Globe, ISSN: 0311-3930 (1 to 2 issues per year). |

ANZMapS Newsletter is distributed four times each year to inform our members on
matters of immediate interest and to supplement The Globe, ANZMapS journal. ANZMapS Newsletter
is published in electronic only format, distributed on ANZMapS Circle, our discussion list, or
by email. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
ANZMapS, the Australian and New Zealand Map Society Incorporated, promotes all
aspects of cartography to a wide range of potential users. ANZMapS was created from the merger
in March 2009, of the Australian Map Circle (formed 1973) and New Zealand Map Society (formed 1977).
It is dedicated to exploring and developing the world of maps. Our membership includes map producers,
librarians and curators, publishers, designers, GIS specialists, academics, researchers, and anyone
with an interest in maps. |
