The British Library and its Document Supply Centre currently subscribe to almost
50,000 journals covering most countries, languages and subjects. Articles can be
ordered via a direct link in SilverPlatter's bibliographic records. Researchers can order
specific articles identified by searching SilverPlatter databases directly from BLDSC.
Documents are sent via first-class mail within 48 hours after the centre receives the
request. Documents can also be faxed.

The services are available only to institutions registered with the BLDSC.

The full text is selected from the alternative press, hard-to-find reports, government
reports, journals, newsletters, pamphlets, legislative actions and reviews.

(For questions or to subscribe to any reference database -- CD-ROM, online or
Internet-accessible -- contact BCR's Jim Hensinger or Karen Graham.)
