BCR Certifies CD-ROM Lock Y2K Compliant

  By James Speed Hensinger

After rigorous analysis, BCR has found the BCR CD-ROM lock to be Year 2000
compliant. Although the lock is named the BCR CD-ROM lock, it also has been used
to successfully secure floppy drives, reset buttons, computer power switches, cash
drawers and laser printer power switches. Creative librarians may find even more uses
  for the lock.
