BCR Planning for Colorado and
  Wyoming Library Conferences
BCR is preparing to participate in this fall's annual library conferences. BCR staff
members will attend the Colorado Library Association (CLA) Annual Conference
September 14-17 and the Wyoming Library Association (WLA) Annual Conference
  September 20-23.

Members of CLA will gather at Snowmass Village for their annual conference. Jim
Hensinger, manager of BCR's Internet & Database Services; along with Regan Harper,
  senior member services librarian; and Sharon Hoffhines, communications coordinator;
will attend this year's conference. The "BCR Network Update" is scheduled for Friday,
September 15, from 4-5:15 p.m. in the Sinclair Room at the Snowmass Conference
  Center.

Please make a point to attend the "BCR Network Update." Librarians will learn the latest
about OCLC and its new FirstSearch service; other online reference services such as
SilverPlatter and Britannica, as well as new services available, including
AccessScience@ McGrawHill.com and OED Online, the Web-based version of the
  Oxford English Dictionary.

Wyoming librarians will meet at Riverton. Rosario Garza, manager of BCR's
Bibliographic Systems & Services, will attend. She will present the "BCR Network
  Update" Thursday, September 21, from 1:45-3:15 p.m.

As always, BCR will staff an exhibit booth at each library conference. (At CLA, BCR
will staff Booth #32.) Everyone is invited to stop by and chat, ask questions and learn
about the many services BCR has available to assist libraries in better serving their
  patrons.
