	SilverPlatter New Products and Discounts 
  SilverPlatter recently released Elsevier's Evidence Based Medicine (EMBASE) database on both CD-
  ROM format and the Internet.  Providing access to proven clinical information for use in treating
  patients and diagnosing ailments, the database includes more than 400,000 records from journals, papers
  and conference proceedings.  It is updated quarterly and is SilverLinker-enabled.
   
  
	Current FSTA SilverPlatter customers can now receive access to the Food and Nutrition Internet Index
  (FNII) prepared by IFIS free of charge.  FNII is a fully searchable Web site which describes and indexes the
  most important food and nutrition resources available on the Internet.  Each Internet site is evaluated for
  relevance and content before being included in the index.
   
	
  OCLC FirstSearch Service Update 
  OCLC reminds libraries that WebScript versions 1.95 and 1.96 will not work with the new version of
  FirstSearch and recommends that libraries upgrade to WebScript 2.0.  Only those libraries using scripted
  access are affected.  Additional information can be viewed at

  Ovid Online Service Changes 
  Beginning January 1, 2001, Ovid's Full-Screen VT-100 Interface will be the only option offered for telnet
  users wishing to access Ovid online.  Users also no longer will be able to search using the BRS Colleague and
  Native interfaces.  Ovid Online searchers have the option of using the feature-rich Ovid Web Gateway at
  gateway.ovid.com as an alternative.
   
	
  APA PsycInfo Database Pricing Restructured 
  Pricing for the PsychInfo database will now be based on FTE rather than simultaneous
  user numbers, and users will be able to access this database over the Internet or on CD-
  ROM.  Additionally, APA's PsychLit database will no longer be available.
