Author & Photographer
- I served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam during 1969 and 1970, and this site displays a sample of the photos I took during my time there. Over the course of about two weeks in April 1970, I shot several rolls of Kodak Ektachrome slide film (ASA 64) time exposures using a cable release and resting the camera on sandbags in one of our compound's guard towers.
- The best way to enjoy the fullness of the photos is to view them in 'full-screen mode.' To activate full-screen just use the first item on the red hamburger menu on the photos page.
- You can also find a bio about me, a bibliography, an "About the photos," and much more on the red hamburger menus.
- I think you'll also find that your enjoyment of the photography is enhanced by listening to Sandy Bull's Electric Blend while viewing my photos.
There are audio controls on the bottom right of of the images. The controls are designed to minimize automatically to avoid intruding on the photos. You may wish to crank up the volume.
